The Magazine Is Here

The Magazine is here!

This is it, The Folks Magazine is wrapping up, but not without saying goodbye. We came up with something very special: a limited-edition magazine, featuring some of our best stories. 164 pages of pure joy, designed to keep you inspired, and a way to say thanks.

Featured are, amongst others: filmmaker Tony van der Veer, artist Job Reuten, textile designer Mae Engelgeer, Coverjunkie Jaap Biemans, strategist David Snellenberg of Dawn, adventurer Brian Boswijk, photographer Elza Jo van Reenen, leather bag designers Carolien Vlieger and Hein van Dam of VliegerandVandam, writer Willem Dieleman, negotiator Aernoud Bourdrez and graphic designer Martin Pyper.

Note from the team

We've always been a strong supporter of anyone going out there and create an idea that ignites change. When we launched The Folks of Amsterdam in 2017, we wanted it to be about them. About believers, changemakers, dreamers, and otherwise business engaged folk that had a story to tell that would inspire, resonate, and stick. The Folks started as an online interview platform that quickly grew into a community that people wanted to belong to or become a part of — an immensely rewarding feeling. For the past three years, we've been lucky to connect, talk, and collaborate with some of the most daring, and future-forward thinkers of Amsterdam. And now you can read about them, in the final chapter of our adventure. We’re hoping you’ll enjoy our magazine.

Have a lovely read,
- Team Folks
